Our spectacular black-tie evening at MGM COTAI will celebrate not only the launch of the Best of the Best 2024 print magazine with a select group of readers and VIPs to toast the winners of this year’s edition, but also present an immersive luxury experience in the MGM Theatre. Our Best of the Best 2024 Gala Dinner will mark the first-ever Best of the Best gala event in Macau.

DEEPAK OHRI

Deepak Ohri is well-known worldwide as an award-winning entrepreneur who has transformed the global luxury hospitality
landscape. He is also the author of A Bridge Not Too Far and has been recognised globally as an award-winning entrepreneur and celebrated speaker, being featured at the Forbes Global CEO conference and Financial Times Business of Luxury Summit, among many others. Ohri is also a guest lecturer at many prestigious business schools including Harvard Business School, Columbia University, NYU Stern
School of Business, and MIT Sloan. he is also a Executive in Residence at Florida International University- College of Business and Chairman of Board at Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center.

His career highlights include bringing the Michelin-star rating to Thailand, converting Thailand into a gastronomic destination, and elevating fine-dining standards for the country. He is also responsible for the creation of the Ohri Luxury Index (OLI) and has been awarded at Best of the Best 2023 by Robb Report Thailand.

TIM KOBE

Tim Kobe is a highly celebrated industrial designer and the founding partner, principal, and design director of strategic design firm Eight Inc, which has been called “Apple’s best-kept secret.” Notably, he worked closely with Apple’s late founder, Steve Jobs, to design Apple’s first flagship store in 2001.

In 2006, Kobe and Eight Inc received the highest honours for the professional “High Density on the High Ground” competition, sponsored by McGraw-Hill Companies’ Architectural Record magazine and Tulane University School of Architecture. He has also received international design awards and his work has been featured in Asia, Europe, and the United States. Eight Inc was selected to represent the United States at the Architecture Bienniale in Venice, Italy.
